The Race to Lunan Bay
Arbikie is launching its inaugural UK Arbikie Cocktail Competition open to all bartenders working in the UK. The entry details are as follows:
Entrants must prepare two serves:
Serve One: Must showcase the Arbikie philosophy of ‘Field to Bottle’ using at least one locally sourced ingredient.
Serve Two: ‘Cocktails at Home’ using consumer friendly ingredients with an emphasis on replicability in the home.
Entries must use at least 35ml of any Arbikie brand covering one vodka and one gin expression. Entrants cannot use two products from the same category.
The competition will have heats in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Manchester & London, with the winner of each heat progressing to the final to be held at The A Club in Edinburgh during August. Entries welcome from across the UK.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 25th May 2018, with heats held in June and the grand final in August.
To enter you must email both serves with recipes and photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and post your entry for Serve One on your chosen social media platform tagging the relevant Arbikie page and using the following hashtags #fieldtobottle #RaceToLunanBay. Failure to do both will result in an incomplete submission and won’t be counted.
The winner of the inaugural competition will get the opportunity to spend time at the Arbikie Distillery immersed in our farming and distilling operation working with our Master Distiller Kirsty Black.
